Because

I wish I could just hug you because you need it.

Let You Down. The Saddest State it's Ever Been.

Apologize Seattle

One Republic -- Apologize

I'm holding on your rope, Got me ten feet off the ground
I'm hearin what you say but I just can't make a sound
You tell me that you need me Then you go and cut me down, but wait
You tell me that you're sorry
Didn't think I'd turn around, and say...

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late

I'd take another chance, take a fall Take a shot for you
And I need you like a heart needs a beat But it's nothin new
I loved you with a fire red-
Now it's turning blue, and you say...
"Sorry" like the angel heaven let me think was you
But I'm afraid...

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late

Bridge (guitar/piano)

It's too late to apologize, it's too late
I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late
It's too late to apologize, yeah
I said it's too late to apologize, yeah-

I'm holdin on your rope, got me ten feet off the ground...

The Classic Crime -- Seattle

My real estate
My life is dull
And dried up like the sound
A voice makes when the heart grows cold
And it’s going that way

I think I’ll move out of state
Somewhere far from Seattle city lights
They burn my eyes
California sounds nice but California’s a lie
Maybe I’m out of luck
Or maybe I’m just blind
All this time

Rain on my hopes
Rain on my soul
Rain on everything that I know
It feels so ludicrous
The pursuit of this dream
We thought we’d be there long ago

My life is like a rolling river
So muddy and absurd
And although I might be mistaken
I know that I’ll be heard
And I find the second I try to pull away
I’m thrown back in line
All this time

So
Rain on my hopes
Rain on my soul
Rain on everything that I know
It feels so ludicrous
The pursuit of this dream
We thought we’d be there long ago

Rain on my hopes
Rain on my soul
Rain on everything that I know
It feels so ludicrous
The pursuit of this dream
We thought we’d be there long ago

And we are all looking for the same thing
The same thing
Seattle is calling me back home
Back home

So
Rain on my hopes
Rain on my soul
Rain on everything that I know
It feels so ludicrous
The pursuit of this dream
We thought we’d be there long ago

Rain on my hopes
Rain on my soul
Rain on everything that I know
It feels so ludicrous
The pursuit of this dream
We thought we’d be there long ago

Oh Dear

What am I going to do?

The Classic Crime -- Headlights

A summer drive away from dying: a broken heart nothing to lose.
I know it hurts so bad just trying to please the ones you hate to love.
And I wrote this note about someone I used to know
so I'd remember how life can be so short when your left alone to wonder
how it is someone opens and shuts the door.

I know your cold but come home.
It's a shame how short we all have come.

You set your mind on cruise control; knuckles grip the wheel in fear to let it go.
Love is empty, love is cruel, love it blindly breaks the rules.
How could you have been a fool?
It's something all of us go through.
You choke back tears and swallow lies but those wiper blades won't fix you eyes,
count on having clouded vision for at least a little while.

And I know you're cold but come home: it's a shame how short we all have come.
And I know you're cold but come home.

Please don't face the headlights of the oncoming cars along.
We wont forget the past.
We wont forget the past. (And I know you're cold)
Say all the answers and I will let you go
I wont look back
and I wont look back.
Say all the answers
and I will let you go.
I will let you go.
I will let you go

Say all the answers and I will let you go
I won't look back
I won't look back. [x3]

Please don't face the headlights of the oncoming cars along
and I will let you go..

Steeps and Stories

So on Sunday Mel, Patricia, and I went to Steeps for tea. It was such a nice cozy place that I wouldn't mind going back there. And for someone who doesn't like to drink tea, I sure had quite a bit! Mmm but it was Lemon Drop so I can't complain, its the one type of tea that I don't mind.

So after hanging out at Steeps for a while we walked Whyte for a bit and went into a few stores. Somehow all the one's we went in had a funny smell.... maybe it was just because its Whyte or they were concession stores but eh.

Then right before leaving for home, we noticed that Earl was working and dropped in to say hi. We thought he'd give us some free bubble tea but in the end we decided that he didn't like the guy he was working with that night because he wouldn't let Earl have his much needed break. Haha what an amazing story.
